FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to turbine machine rotors, used in aviation. Drum of turbine machine rotor comprises housing in form of hollow cylindrical body of rotation around longitudinal axis, and made therein one or more rim with means for attachment of blade tails, located on outer surface in equal intervals in transverse direction, housing has metal matrix composite with crosswise arrangement of reinforcing fibres, means for attachment of blade tails are made in form of root element for welding in form of blade profile, and metal matrix composite is formed over entire outer surface in layer with thickness not exceeding height of root element. Metal matrix composite is formed from one part of wound fibres of SiC, at least at one angle, and other part of "felted" fibres of SiC, enclosed into matrix of titanium alloy with their subsequent fusion.
EFFECT: invention provides decreased weight, higher reliability, more strong drum rim part, as well as better manufacture process.
