FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly gas turbine engine systems and can be used as a separator breather, vent in oil systems of aircraft gas turbine engines (GTE), as well as in other devices for separation of fluid from gas-liquid mixture. Impeller is made of a composite structure and is mounted inside installed on shaft end cylindrical chamber. Side ends of impeller blades rest in its rear wall, outer edges of blades along outer diameter of impeller are adjacent to side wall of chamber. In flow part of impeller is installed across blades of at least one pair of separating partitions, one of which covers inter-blade space of impeller in central zone of impeller outlet, and other partition covers it in flow section peripheral zone at outlet of impeller. Supply of gas-liquid mixture to input of breather is axial on side of front wall of chamber, removal of clean gas discharge is made from side of rear wall through hollow shaft, and return of fluid captured by breather to crankcase of feed cavity is made through radial channels in side wall of chamber on outer side of which is a gear rim.
EFFECT: such design of driving centrifugal breather enables intensification of separation of fluid in it due to separation of paths of two flows - liquid-gas mixture supplied to input of breather for cleaning, and a stream of fluid particles caught, returning in crankcase of feed cavity for reuse.
