FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to improve accuracy of angular orientation of orbital spacecraft (OSC), in which orientation system with help of orbital gyrocompasses (OGC) are used. Provide OGC error self-compensation caused by self-deterministic errors generated by local vertical plotters (LVP) by roll and pitch, as well as OGC error caused by permanent components of natural drift of gyroscopic sensors of rate-measuring device in channels of heading, roll and pitch. Measurement of said errors is achieved by creating conditions of their observability.
EFFECT: increase in accuracy.
