FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. External cardiac defibrillator contains electrode sites, electric wires or terminals and electric circuit. Electrode sites are configured to form external electric contact with body in order to deliver cardiac defibrillation shock into body. Electric wires or terminals are connected with or configured for connection with defibrillation electrode sites. Electric circuit contains electric accumulation element and piezoelectric transformer, which does not contain magnetic material and is intended for charging electric accumulation element to voltage, effective for delivery of cardiac defibrillation shock. Electric circuit is configured for discharge of electric accumulation element via electric wires or terminals to deliver cardiac defibrillation shock into electric wires or terminals.
EFFECT: application of invention will provide safe application of cardiac defibrillator in shielded room, where tomography is located.
