SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for encoding/decoding 3-D image for multiple viewpoints. Disclosed is a parallax image coding/decoding technology, in which a correction unit corrects a prediction image of a parallax image of a reference viewpoint using information about parallax image of reference viewpoint. Arithmetic operation unit encodes parallax image of reference viewpoint using corrected prediction image and transmits encoded parallax image of reference viewpoint and information about parallax image of reference viewpoint.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of encoding parallax image using information on parallax image.
