FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to educational visual aids, as well as to scientific devices intended for visualization of spatial structure of crystalline substances. Kit in any of the three versions comprises base 1, one or more stands 2 intended for installation on it, set of flat transparent plates 3 for arrangement on posts simulating crystallographic planes, separation washers 4 for arrangement on the posts between plates 3 and multiple elements 5 for simulating atoms or ions. Element 5 comprises two equal-size ball segments, at least one of which comprises a magnet, while the other is also a magnet or a soft magnetic material. Kit as per the first version contains templates 10 with a marking transferred by means of a pen onto the plates for subsequent installation of elements 5 segments, as per the second version - transparent stencils 20 with holes for installation of elements 5 segments after the stencils placing on plates 3, as per the third version - transparent masks 30 with a marking similar to the templates one applied on the plates before installation of elements 5 segments. Feature of the kit is that all plates 3 are identical and have no holes except holes for the posts, as well as presence of the templates, stencils and masks and the specified design of elements 5.
EFFECT: technical result is simple and easy use of the kit and easy flexibility of models, as well as expanded set of crystalline structures, models of which can be obtained using the set, without increasing the quantity and types of the transparent plates.
