FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to printed materials of special purpose and relates to multilayer valuable document, protected from forgery, and method of determining its authenticity. Document includes at least on one of its layers at least two different graphic figures with non-coloured imaginary points in areas, such as centres, and/or focal points, and/or focal planes, and/or centres of mass, and/or asymptotes, and/or attractors, determined by equations of selected figures at mutual location and/or spatial distribution of visual display of said points on surface of document, in a conditional order in form of its shape, and/or a word, and/or image, wherein locus of every figure lies on one common line or figure and is a code for subsequent analysis. Method involves photographing or scanning a valuable document, mathematical processing of image, identifying geometric areas of imaginary points, calculation of relationship between them and authentication of a valuable document provided spatial coordinates of calculated imaginary points are found in a given range of values.
EFFECT: invention provides a method of protection and method of authenticating bond paper made by means of domestic photo printers.
