FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to rheumatology, physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation, and can be used for treating patients with reactive arthritis. Exposure of multichannel electric stimulation with bipolar pulse currents on muscles associated with affected joints, in a projection of adrenal glands and superior thoracic spine. Exposure frequency is 1 to 150 Hz, current rate is 20 to 100 mA, marks and spaces 2 s each, exposure time is 20 minutes. “Tomed-Applica” dirt is applied onto the affected joints. Additionally applications of dirt in the area of lumbar and inferior thoracic spine are executed. Time of applications is 18-20 minutes per each area. If DAS28 index exceeds 2.8, the area of joints over the mud applications is simultaneously exposed to polychromatic polarized light. Range of wavelengths 480-3,400 nm, distance 15 cm, power 40 mW/cm2, 4 minutes per joint. Therapeutic course is 8-12 combined daily procedures.
EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness, reducing length of treatment, prolongs remission ensured by the integrated exposure providing the analgesic, anti-inflammatory, trophic effect, normalized static and dynamic functions, reducing malnutrition muscles.
