FIELD: medicine; physiotherapy; traumatology.
SUBSTANCE: intended for the rehabilitation of patients after total hip implantation in the early postoperative period. The method includes physiotherapeutic electrical stimulation. As a physiotherapeutic effect, pulsed currents are used through paired plate electrodes of size 120×160 mm, on which hydrophilic pads are placed, moistened with warm water at a temperature of 37 to 38°C. The impact is carried out paravertebrally in the region of the sacral spine on the projection of the exit points of the sacral nerves with the following parameters of a rectangular pulse current, bipolar technique, modulation 10, frequency 20 Hz, pulse duration 5 ms, duty ratio 3. The current strength is set until the patient feels painless, pronounced vibration under the electrodes in the range of 0.5-5 mA, exposure time is 5 minutes, 2 times a day, daily, for a course of 10 procedures.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce the time and increase the effectiveness of rehabilitation treatment in the early postoperative period in patients after total hip implantation due to a pathogenetically based method of influencing the neuromuscular system of patients using an optimally selected electrical stimulation mode.
