FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, psychophysiology, physiology, psychology, cognitive ophthalmology, optics, non-linear dynamics and can be used in neuroscience, brain activity studies, in the area of education. Planar image (Ide) is used creating the perception of depth and volume, together with a stereogram (Istg), their planar and three-dimensional perception is implemented, alpha and theta activities are identified and for Istg and Ide the following is determined: first, exceedance of theta rhythms over alpha rhythms, second, exceedance of theta and alpha rhythms of the EEG activity on the right hemisphere over the left one, third, on the right and the left hemispheres the increase of power in three-dimensional perception as compared to the planar one is identified.
EFFECT: method allows to expand psychophysiological features of the ability to perceive planar images with the effects of depth and volume.
