SUBSTANCE: invention relates to excavating equipment and can be used mainly in mining industry in development of mineral deposits by open method. Dragline excavator working tool comprises a boom with a bucket suspended therefrom by means of lifting ropes, passing through installed on boom units, pull winch with corresponding cables. On boom there is a gripper in form of a gear shaft, one end of which is equipped with hook engaged with lifting rope, and other end through system of ropes is interconnected with winch. Gripper is configured for movement along axis and around its axis.

EFFECT: device enables to shorten working cycle by time of rotation of bucket the place of its unloading, which improves efficiency.
