FIELD: coating.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to low-emissivity coatings. Coated article has a coating supported by a glass substrate, wherein the coating contains at least the following layers moving away from the glass substrate: a dielectric layer comprising zinc oxide doped with boron and at least one gallium; an infrared (IR) reflecting layer containing silver and/or gold; a dielectric layer on the substrate over at least the IR reflecting layer. Layer containing zinc oxide doped with boron and gallium, contains from about 0.01 to 8 wt% of boron, wherein the layer containing zinc oxide doped with boron and gallium contains less boron than gallium.

EFFECT: as a result the durability of a coating is enhanced and its optical properties are intact.
