SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication system. For this purpose, communication system includes: control device to set the control information which instructs each target control switch to distinguish LLDP-pack of first network from LLDP-pack of second network, different from the first network, and perform corresponding predetermined treatment in each target control switch; group of switches, each of which is configured to transmit LLDP-pack of the first network to a certain topology control device in accordance with control information specified by the control device; and topology control device to control network topology configured by groups of switches, based on information included in LLDP-packs of the first network, received from each switch.

EFFECT: technical result is possibility to distinguish packs of detection channel level protocol (LLDP-packs) for detection of network topology with centralized control from LLDP-packs flowing into the network as user traffic.
