FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and aircraft engineering, where magnesium alloys can be used as a light structural material for production of the brackets, bearing parts of the inner set, such as armchairs elements, control panel, control system. Method of processing of magnesium alloys includes heating of cast billet, two-stage deformation and cooling in the air, at that the first stage of deformation is performed at temperature 370-450°C during time required for production of deformed structure, with subsequent cooling of the billet in the air up to room temperature, wherein prior to heating of cast billet it is subjected to two-step homogenization at first at a temperature of 340-360 °C during 6 hours and then at 440-470 °C during 8 hours, and the second stage of deformation is performed at a temperature of 350-450 °C with strain rate of 0.01-0.7 m/s and further cooling in the air at a rate of 5-30°/s.
EFFECT: technical result is increased value of yield strength at compression with maintaining low anisotropy of strength properties and good corrosion resistance.
