FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of (co)polymers modifying. Method of modification of polymers and block copolymers involves grafting selected from a group of carboxylic acid anhydrides, wherein inoculated agent is introduced into solution, where solvent is graft agent, and reaction of modification of polymers is performed in two series reactors used with constant removal of impurities ascending flows, wherein in first reactor-mixer distribution of inoculated agent on polymer surface is carried out and simultaneously bigger part of blending with same surface, and temperature is maintained at level of 10-40 °C below temperature of polymer melt, and second reactor-extruder produces directly modification and has worm conveyor-type elements and elements with reverse thread pitch for creation of effect of hydraulic jump duration, and temperature is maintained at level of 10-40 °C above temperature of polymer melt.

EFFECT: produced melt polymer is free from possible impurities, method of modifying ensures production of thermoplastic polymers as binder for mutually incompatible polymers or polymer, which itself starts to combine with previously unrelated polymers; obtained at same time, in particular, films are characterised by higher quality (contain less “fish eyes”).
