FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for producing cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, paints, primers, adhesives, concrete, cellulose materials. Modifier for preparing nanostructured composite materials comprises single-wall, and/or double-wall, and/or multi-wall carbon nanotubes, uniformly distributed in the volume of solid ethylene carbonate. To obtain said modifier ethylene carbonate is heated to melting temperature, carbon nanotubes is added. Obtained mixture is exposed by ultrasound for uniform distribution of nanotubes in amount of ethylene carbonate and cooled to temperature of ethylene carbonate hardening. Dispersant from: polyvinyl pyrrolidone, or polyvinyl acetate, or polyvinyl alcohol, or block-copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl acetate, or block-copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl caprolactam can be added in molten ethylene carbonate. Carbon nanotubes can be preliminary cleaned and/or functionalized.

EFFECT: produced modifier in the form of dispersion of carbon nanotubes is stable during storage for a long time with preservation of all properties.
