FIELD: production of fittings.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of creating T-junctions. Surface of the main pipe is cleaned in the point of welding a reinforced angular pipe branch and said point is marked and cut. Reinforced angular branch pipe is installed on the outer surface of the main pipe at an angle of 90°. After checking the assembly of said branch pipe with the main pipe, process plates are is welded. Reinforced angular branch pipe is fixed along the inner diameter of the main pipe, and welded edges are preliminary heated to preset temperature. Then tacks are performed by manual argon-arc welding arranging them uniformly along the perimeter of the reinforced angular branch pipe. Root weld layer is performed by multipass arc welding in protective gases medium, second and third filling weld layers, cap weld layer are performed starting from the lower layers and ending with the layer along the edge of the reinforced angular pipe branch, and additional rollers are built up with a radius of conjugating welded weld with the main pipe, equal to from one nominal thickness of the subsidiary pipe wall to two nominal thicknesses of the main pipe wall.

EFFECT: invention allows reducing concentration of stresses occurring at line of welding the cap weld with the main pipe.
