FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to image analysis based automatic exposure compensation on video or image signals supplied to home communication system. Result is achieved by that home communication system comprises door station (4) and at least one home station (1), connected to it via bus (15), wherein camera (5) of door station (4) records image persons who are located in front of door station, analogue or digital image signal (BS) generated by camera (5) image is evaluated using region detector (10), which identifies one or more relevant regions of image, wherein sensor (11) of measured brightness determines quality of exposure of at least one region of interest of image based on results of region detector (10), further, control unit (8) from specified nominal value (SW) and generated and output by sensor (11) of measured actual value of brightness (IW) determines control parameters (SG), which iteratively optimise exposure parameters of camera (5) during image recording.
EFFECT: technical result performing automatic exposure compensation based on image analysis.
