FIELD: mechanical engineering; chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mass exchange and chemical processes. Device comprises vertical housing. Housing is made in form of upper sections (2), at top of which there are upper device (7) for supply and discharge of process liquids and assembly (8) for loading of solid phase, and lower section (1), at bottom of which there is device (4) and assembly (5). Sections (1) and (2) have cylindrical shape, installed coaxially with radial clearance (11) and have smooth surfaces. Section (1) is external and fixed, and section (2) is inner and movable. In gap (11) sealing o-ring (9) of round cross section of elastic material is installed, arranged with tight fit to surfaces of sections and with possibility of rolling without slip when moving section (2).

EFFECT: automatic increasing of working volume following volume increase in device and entering substances with preservation of moving parts, no need in applying external forces to reduce internal volume of apparatus and its return to previous state after reduction of substances volume in it.
