SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the apparatuses for performing mass exchange processes in the heterogeneous liquid-solid-liquid and liquid-liquid systems (for example, dissolution, dehydration, emulsification, extraction), especially for the processes, in which solid particles tend to form large, sparingly soluble pieces, and after dissolution of the solid phase, the process of interaction between the heavy concentrated solution and the unreacted light liquid continues, or in case of suspending of the mixture particles, which form a dense precipitate, including a gel-like one, and can be used in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, biotechnological and other industries. Pulsating apparatus comprises the vertical body with the pulsation tube, which is placed therein with the gap that is formed with the bottom, to the upper end of which the source of pneumatic pulsations is connected by means of the pulse line, gas-filled elastic elements in the pulsation tube and in the annular chamber. Pulsating tube is stepped with a transition from a larger diameter pipe in the upper part to a pipe of a smaller diameter at the bottom. In the annular gap between the pipes of larger and smaller diameter, the ring with nozzles is hermetically sealed in the lower plane of the larger diameter pipe, the nozzles are evenly located along the circumference of the ring, they are directed downwards with their alternating angles to the vertical, 5–10° and 25–60°. On the lateral surface of a pipe of larger diameter, there is an annular shell with the nozzles, which are directed up and down with their angle to the vertical 25–60°. Tube with the shut-off valve that is connected to the top of the pulse line is attached to the annular shell. On the lateral surface of a pipe of smaller diameter, there are nozzles that are directed upward with their angle to the vertical 25–60°.
