FIELD: oil and gas industry; measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing standard samples of a composition for rapid and statistical control of error of measurement results, in particular, measurements of weight ratio of oil products in soil, ground and bottom sediments. Oil product is mixed with washed, dried and sifted quartz sand fraction 0.1-0.5 mm. Obtained material undergoes standardisation on weight ratio of oil product. Oil product is added to quartz sand in form of a solution in volatile non-polar organic solvent with subsequent evaporation of solvent at room temperature for 5-7 days. Complete evaporation of solvent is controlled by weighing vessel with sample. Oil product used is engine oil. Hexane is used as a solvent.
EFFECT: higher quality of analysis when determining content of oil products in soil, ground and bottom sediments.
