FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to medical diagnostic techniques and can be used for determination of density of biological tissue in an abnormal focus. By positron-emission tomograph, containing device measuring difference of frequencies γ-quants, simultaneously supplied to the detectors γ-radiation, measure the maximum difference of said γ-quants. For this difference of frequencies based on Doppler effect is determined the speed of positron and proportional to its density of biological tissue in a abnormal focus.
EFFECT: method allows to measure density of biological tissue in a abnormal focus owing to use of the device, making it possible to measure difference of frequencies γ-quants, simultaneously supplied to the detectors γ-radiation.
