FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. Silencer comprises a cylindrical housing, end inlet branch pipe rigidly connected with central pipe, having perforation and forming with housing by means of perforated partitions in form of at least one coaxially arranged to housing and central pipe of additional perforated pipe, and ends of all pipes are rigidly connected to housing by means of solid partitions, wherein one of them is rigidly connected with inlet branch pipe, and is located on other opposite nozzle side, between housing and perforated pipe there is a sound-absorbing element and in end part of central pipe there is a sound-absorbing element locked by lock washer, porosity of sound absorbing element located between housing and perforated pipe is 2.5…5.0 times less than porosity of sound absorbing element located in end part of central pipe.
EFFECT: coaxial arrangement of pipes significantly simplifies design of silencer and improves its operation due to that contaminants can be easily removed therefrom: water droplets, oil, which can, during prolonged operation, increase resistance of silencer.
