FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. Silencer comprises a cylindrical housing, rigidly connected with end inlet and outlet pipes, rigidly connected with central pipe with perforation, outlet pipe is made in form of a disc having in peripheral part at least three holes, and central pipe with perforation in form of rectangular slots number of which is not less than three, is connected with central solid part of disc, and between housing and central pipe a sound-absorbing element is arranged so that holes of disc are connected to cavity of arrangement of sound absorbing element.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression due to exclusion of "radiation effect" and penetration of sound waves both along axis of silencer, and through its two walls by introducing on propagation path of sound waves sound-absorbing elements.
