FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to contactor with electromagnetic drive incorporating an armature, which is configured to move from an initial position to a retracted position when actuating drive. Contactor comprises connected with armature a contact holder, which is configured for transfer by means of armature from open position, in which armature is in initial position, in closed position, in which armature is in retracted position. Contact holder is connected to armature with possibility of disconnection, contactor has a release device, through which it is possible for detachment for connection between armature and contact holder at retracted armature so that contact holder is configured to switch independent of armature from closed position into open position.

EFFECT: providing maximum fast opening of electric circuit.
