FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular, to aerospace engineering, and designed as manual actuated shutoff valve. Ball valve consists of housing with inlet and outlet unions and two seats. Said seats are made in form of sealing elements having through holes with spherical surfaces to interact with ball shutoff element closing flow opening. Ball shutoff element has slot with ledge located in it. Stem includes sealing element held by coupling nut. Rotary mechanism is made in form of damping piston with rod. Coupling nut is made with through holes. In formed between coupling nut and damping piston end cavity is formed. Said cavity is made with possibility of volume changing inversely proportional to working medium volume change, located in closed ball shutoff element closed cavity. In above cavity a spring is installed.
EFFECT: technical result is ball valve reliability improvement, providing housing protection against pressure damage in case of temperature considerable variation, working fluid heating or freezing.
