Abstract RU 2599422 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: proposed is a bacterial macromolecular complex for preventing or treating inflammatory rheumatic disease and osteoarthritis. Complex is produced by CNCM I-3994 strain of Bifidobacterium longum bacteria. Complex consists of chains combining lipoprotein and oligosaccharide. Herewith the lipoprotein has the molecular weight ranging from 30kDa to 60 kDa, and the oligosaccharide is less than 15kDa and preferably less than 10kDa. Lipoprotein component consisting of all lipoproteins of every chain is 75-99 %, preferably 80-98 %, more preferably from 85 to 95% by weight of the total weight of the complex, and oligosaccharide component consisting of all oligosaccharides combined with each of the chains ranges from 1 to 25 %, preferably from 2 to 20 % and more preferably from 5 to 15 % of total weight of the complex. Amino acid sequence of the lipoprotein is SEQ ID 2. Saccharides forming the oligosaccharide component of the complex are selected from galactose (Gal), N-acetylgalactosamine (Gal Nac), glucose (Glc), N-acetylglucosamine (Glc Nac), rhamnose (Rham) and mannose (Man) and mixtures thereof. Average mass fraction of Gal is 5-20 mcg/mg of the complex, Man is 1-10 mcg/mg of the complex, Glc is 10-50 mcg/mg of the complex, Gal Nac is 2-10 mcg/mg of the complex, Glc Nac is 1-5 mcg/mg of the complex, Rham is 1-5 mcg/mg of the complex. Lipids comprising the lipoprotein component of the complex are selected from a group consisting of saturated fatty acids with the length of C14:0, C16:0 and C18:0 and their mixtures.

EFFECT: invention also discloses pharmaceutical, food and nutritional compositions based on the said complex.
