SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the Bifidobacterium longum strain, its culture, compositions and methods. Disclosed is a Bifidobacterium longum LC67 strain with access number KCCM 11802P for use in developing a functional food and pharmaceutical composition. Strain has antioxidant activity, activity inhibiting beta-glucuronidase, activity inhibiting production of lipopolysaccharides, and activity inducing expression of the protein of close contact. Also disclosed is a culture of the Bifidobacterium longum LC67 strain with access number KCCM 11802P for use in the development of a functional food and pharmaceutical composition. Said strain or its culture is used in a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating liver disease caused by oxidative stress or alcohol. Said compositions are used to prepare a medicinal product. Also disclosed are methods for preventing or treating liver disease caused by oxidative stress or alcohol.
