A multimodal conversation park and resumption method comprises notifying a system subscriber on a parked conversation, and enabling the subscriber to resume selected or all modalities for continuing the conversation. While waiting for the subscriber to resume the conversation, a participant may receive audio, video, presentation, or other forms of content as playback.
EFFECT: enabling resumption of a suspended data exchange session from the position where it was suspended.
