FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and apparatus for shared use by multiple users. Said result is provided by the system executed on a computing platform such as personal computer, tablet or smartphone. Computing platform by means of running operating system gives effect to the action of shared use and further intermediate regulation of shared use of content between initial application and target application, identification of initial application and target application as protected against closing by means of action on the side of operating system.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of operational costs and time spent by the user when sharing content between applications on a computing device.
