FIELD: radio engineering and communications.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication. Channel state information and information of hybrid ARQ ACK/NACK for multiple carriers is transmitted simultaneously using the structure of PUCCH format 3, where hybrid ARQ ACK/NACK bits and CSI bits are coded separately and are subjected to interlace. In the exemplary method the control shift parameter by power is calculated in the form of the linear combination, at least, the number N, which is the number of bits of channel state information, and the number M, which is the number of bits of hybrid ARQ ACK/NACK. Method proceeds by the calculation of power level for transmission over a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) using the control shift parameter by power. In some embodiments bits of coded channel state information and hybrid ARQ ACK/NACK bits then are transmitted (2060) in compliance with calculated power level. In some embodiments, the linear combination is presented in the form of aN+bM+c, where a, b and c are non-zero constants.

EFFECT: use of improved techniques for managing transmission of information in the uplink control channel in systems employing carriers aggregation and/or TDD.
