FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to production of high-precision articles. Workpiece for tool is made from dispersion-hardened alloy of Fe-Co-Mo/W-N, containing, wt%: cobalt 15.0-30.0, molybdenum up to 20.0, tungsten up to 25.0, (Mo+W/2) 10.0 to 22.0, nitrogen 0.005 to 0.12, iron and impurities - balance. Structure of alloy consists of intermetallic phases type (FeCo)6(Mo+W/2)7 in a matrix of type (Fe+(29xCo))+1 wt% Mo. Matrix has unordered atomic structure of Fe and Co. Alloy has hardness less than 40 HRC, impact viscosity K measured during operation of impact for samples without cuts, higher than 16.0 J and relative elongation Ac with tensile test greater than 6.5 %. Method of making workpiece includes making an alloy of Fe-Co-Mo/W-N by powder metallurgy, deformation thereof into a workpiece, soft annealing and thermal treatment by heating, annealing and further cooling at a rate of λ cooling less than 3(λ<3).
EFFECT: workpiece is obtained with improved characteristics of viscosity, relative elongation and improved processability for further production of high-precision articles.
