FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a roll for hot rolling. Roll (101) includes a body, herewith at least part of enveloping surface (104) of the said body is made from a high-speed steel containing, wt%: 1–3 of carbon, 3–6 of chromium, at least one element from molybdenum up to 7 and tungsten up to 15, wherein Mo+0.5W=2–10, 3–14 of vanadium, 0–10 of cobalt, 0–3 of niobium, 0–0.5 of nitrogen, 0.2–1 yttrium, the rest is iron and unavoidable impurities.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of wear resistance of the roll surface at high temperatures.
