SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer security. Method for augmentation of the database storing decisions on previously verified files during antivirus checking objects at least on two virtual machines, method comprises: forming a list of objects requiring antivirus checking, on each virtual machine; assigning a method for selecting objects from a list of objects for objects queue based on the number of virtual machines and method for selecting objects from the objects queue for further provision of objects for antivirus checking; forming the objects queue of defined length by selecting objects from the objects list according to the assigned method for selecting objects from the objects list on each virtual machine; object is selected from the queue in accordance with the assigned method for selecting objects from the objects queue for the antivirus checking, selecting objects on each virtual machine is taken into account; antivirus checking the selected object on a virtual protection machine; adding a decision on actual antivirus checking of the selected object in the database.

EFFECT: technical result is reduced total time of antivirus checking identical objects placed on the virtual machines.
