FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to techniques for control over life cycle of an application. Proposed is a method of control over life cycle of applications in a computing device running multiple applications. Method includes a step for determining multiple threshold values, each of the said multiple threshold values is bound either to a characteristic of one of the said multiple applications or to a characteristic of the computing device service life. Further, as per the method, the said multiple threshold values are adjusted on the basis, at least partially, of the fact whether the computing device operates as a system supplied from the mains or a system fed from the battery. Finally it is checked whether the threshold value of the said multiple threshold values is satisfied.

EFFECT: technical result is control over the selected application operation finish depending upon the threshold value associated with the application.
