FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation and telemechanics. System comprises at stations between hauls points for reading identification and diagnostic information from trains passing the hauls, points of axle counting, locomotives, each of which is equipped with an onboard control device, a transceiver and a memory unit, in which data of reference geometric model of rolling stock are recorded containing information upon the structure of inter-axial distances of wheel pairs. Herewith each point of axle counting comprises rail sensors to register train axle passing, a stationary transceiver, a floor electronic module having a memory module and a microcontroller with three built-in timers. Onboard locomotive control device comprises two microprocessor modules of central data processing, a module for controlling operation of the microprocessor modules, an onboard control device restarting circuit, a binding CAN interface, a motion parameters recording unit, a timer of the onboard device system time and a satellite navigation signals receiver.
EFFECT: provided is higher system reliability.
