FIELD: tracks vacancy/occupation monitoring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a means of monitoring the vacancy/occupation of tracks with radio data exchange between the axle counting point/locomotive/station. The method compares the number of wheelset axles of the rolling stock when it enters the haul/track section of the haul and the number of these axles when it leaves. When the number of axles coincides, a decision is made about the freedom, and information about the number of axles is transmitted from station to station through the radio exchange system between the axle counting points and the locomotive, using the rolling stock locomotive as an information carrier, and radio communication between the onboard locomotive control device and the floor equipment of the counting points axes are carried out on a self-organizing network of low-power tracked means of radio communication in the ISM range. When the rolling stock passes through the counting point, information is additionally transmitted to the locomotive about the fixation by the equipment of the current counting point of each individual axis, then upon completion of the axle counting by the counting point equipment, after a predetermined time interval, the total result of the axle count is transmitted to the train locomotive. By means of the locomotive on-board device for controlling the movement of the train, it is determined, according to the majority principle, the following of the train in its entirety based on the comparison of the received data on the number of axles obtained by counting the number of data transmissions on the locomotive on fixing the passage of individual axles, transmitted by the equipment of the counting point of data on the total number of axles of the rolling stock and comparison with data on the total number of axles previously recorded in the memory of the on-board locomotive control unit of the rolling stock at the departure station. Moreover, when comparing, an error in the total number of axes is allowed on no more than one axis.
EFFECT: increased reliability of determining the progress of a train in full strength.
