FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly to noise suppressors. Suppressor incorporates a casing with an inlet and an outlet branch pipes, an installed coaxially to the casing hollow insert with a throttling element made from a porous noise absorbing material, and a cylindrical spring lined with a sound absorbing material and arranged between the insert and the casing to make a helical channel connected with the inlet branch pipe, the cylindrical spring is lined with a sound absorbing material made as a plate from “Rockwool” type mineral wool on basalt base, or “URSA” type mineral wool, or P-75 type basalt wool, or a glass wool with a glass felt, or a foamed polymer, for example, polyethylene or polypropylene, herewith the sound absorbing element over its entire surface is lined with an acoustically transparent material, for example, EZ-100 type glass fabric or “Poviden” type polymer.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression.
