FIELD: acoustics; waste processing and recycling.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise silencers of a system of processing textile wastes. Silencer comprises a housing in form of a cylindrical shell, coaxial inlet and outlet pipes and installed coaxially to housing to form an annular clearance resonance insert in form of body of revolution. Insert consists of central cylindrical shell and two conical shells fixed on edges of cylindrical shell, wherein on side of free surfaces of conical shells thereto, are rigidly fixed perforated discs, and in middle of insert there is an element which increases stiffness, made in form of a solid disc, wherein insert is fixed in housing by means of fastening elements made in form of at least one ring with holes, wherein housing from inside, and resonance insert from outside is coated with sound absorbing material.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of noise suppression.
