FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-propelled construction machine, comprising chassis 1, comprising wheels or caterpillar drives 1A, 1B. Construction machine according to invention is characterised by that transmission system 6 for transmitting power to drive 5 assembly, comprising at least one internal combustion engine 5A, to working unit 4, comprising at least one working unit 4A, does not comprise standard clutches, through which can be connected working unit, and has a hydrodynamic transmission 10 comprising a primary shaft 10A and 10B secondary shaft.
EFFECT: construction machine has a control device 16 made so that drive power, transmitted via first branch I for power transmission from drive 5 assembly to wheels or caterpillar drives 1A, 1B, is adjusted, and difference ∆=n1-n2 in rotational frequency between primary shaft and secondary shaft of hydrodynamic transmission of second branch II for power transmission corresponds to specified value.
