SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular, to machines parts, and can be used in tooth gears with gear shafts, which gears are corrected and lubricated by plastic lubricants. Gear shaft comprises shaft with gear teeth cut in its body. Shaft body volumes, cut in it at inlet and outlet sections of cutting mill, are substituted with inserts secured in these cuts. Gear teeth width is increased to required gaps sizes between inserts and ends of wheel teeth conjugated with shaft-gear. Cutouts are shifted along shaft axis in sides from gear teeth ends by these gaps value.

EFFECT: higher quality of lubrication due to inserts installation.
