FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in gear assemblies. Gear wheel includes a body with a hub made in the form of a pair of disks fixed on the hub ends and ends of the toothed rim made in the form of separate teeth, their ends being fixed between the disks. Working sections of side surfaces of teeth correspond to design values for the teeth of this wheel, and non-working sections of these surfaces are made in the form of planes oriented radially relative to the wheel. Size of these planes at height of teeth is equal to value of axial clearance of toothed rim. Rigid ring is aligned with wheel axis; its width is equal to that of the toothed rim and its external diameter is equal to the diameter of the circle of bases of the toothed rim. Ring is rigidly secured between disks and on the bases of teeth, their entire surfaces abutting the bases of the teeth.
EFFECT: enhanced durability.
