FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in toothed gears with coarse-grained large-diameter gear wheels with different modes of loading the teeth along circumferences of the wheels. Gear wheel consists of a body, a toothed rim with teeth and a pair of flat circular pads with outer and inner perimeters in the form of circles with outer diameters equal to the diameter of a circle of the toothed rim vertices, and the inner diameter larger than diameter of the toothed rim scallops circle fixed on the teeth end faces. On sections of the wheel circumference with impact mode of loading the teeth respective segments of the pads are shifted radially relative to the circle of the toothed rim vertices towards the wheel center.

EFFECT: provided is higher bending strength of the teeth and smoothness of the gear wheel.
