FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction aimed at preservation of listed temples namely, to a method for strengthening the brickwork of old pillars and their old columnar foundations in structural layouts of buildings. Method to reinforce the brickwork of pillars and their columnar foundations consists in strengthening the brick masonry of pillars and their columnar foundations using reinforced mortar cases. Mortar case of brick columns is prepared from lime solution with the thickness of up to three centimeters; above process is preceded by the repair of the destructed materials of old masonry of pillars without destruction of their body; surface is then coated with wire reinforcement and hidden through-holes with the diameter of 8-10 mm that are arranged in 3-4 rows in the horizontal brickwork joints with successive 90 degree turn of drilled through-holes with step 20-30 cm are used to reinforce the brick columns, injecting the same lime solution in them; columnar foundations are reconstructed at the depth of 1.2-1.5 meters from their top edges; pyramid-shaped body with the top facing downwards is formed; and 60 mm holes drilled in it at the angle of 30 degrees to the vertical line and every 30-40 cm along the perimeter of old foundations are injected with lime and concrete mixture with the content of clay particles of not more than 5 % of their total volume, wherein natural sand particles are grinded to specific surface area of 5,000-6,000 cm2/g; the mixture contains superplasticizing agent C-3, wherein the mixture ratio is the following, wt%: cement - 1, sand - 2-3, superplasticizing agent C-3 - 0.7-0.9, water - 0.8-1.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of labor input and material consumption, energy consumption and complexity of all processes, as well as higher durability of engineering restoration.
