FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and is used to determine coordinates and transmission of emergency messages reporting “man overboard” situation through an automatic identification system (AIS) to nearest vessels and AIS signal receiving station. Device comprises two antennae, one of which is connected to a GNSS module, second - radiating VHF antenna, as well as activation elements, electronic module, made in form of a GNSS module, indication elements, controller, two-channel transmitter of automatic identification system (AIS).
EFFECT: reduced time of locating a person who has fallen overboard, and transmitting notification.
