FIELD: radar technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of location determination systems and is intended for use in conjunction with the on-board receiving and requesting equipment of aircraft (AC OBRRE), to provide landing; to ensure the drive of aircraft (AC) to unequipped airfields; designation of camouflaged objects and terrain areas; search and rescue. The radar beacon-responder includes an information control and processing device, the first microcontroller, an information control and processing device containing a module for receiving and processing signals of the global navigation satellite system (GNSS), a chip with a programmable logic integrated circuit (FPGA), a receiving and transmitting device, a control, monitoring and indication device, a power management and secondary voltage generation device, an antenna-feeder device and a battery.
EFFECT: reduction in time and an increase in the accuracy of determining the location of the claimed radar beacon responder (RBR).
