SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a terminal for determining channel state information. Method includes receiving, by a terminal, an aperiodic CSI request, determining a parameter X in accordance with capacity of terminal process CSI and/or number of CSI processes configured currently, and updating aperiodic CSI in amount of up to X in accordance with parameter X; wherein parameter X is a total number of CSI processes or reports to be updated by terminal in one moment in time or more aperiodic CSI requests.

EFFECT: reduced complexity of calculations in a terminal when determining channel state information (CSI).
