FIELD: wireless communication equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wireless communication engineering, particularly to reporting with channel state information (CSI) in multi-beam transmission. In some embodiments, a method of operating a second node connected to a first node in a wireless communication network for providing CSI multi-beam reporting, includes reporting a rank indicator and a number of beams indicator in a first transmission to a first node. Method also includes providing a report on the synchronization indicator in a second transmission to a first node. Synphasing indicator identifies the selected entry of the synchronization ratio codebook, where the number of bits in the phase-shift indicator is identified by at least one of the number of beams indicator and the rank indicator.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing feedback for both the rank indicator and the number of beams indicator, which provides reliable feedback.
