SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a channel state information (CSI) processing method. A channel state information processing method includes: base station configuring for the CSI processes plurality terminal, each of which contains information of the channel measurements parts and information of the interference measurements part; if the base station configures the corresponding CSI reference processes for some or for all CSI processes, then the CSI rank indicator (RI) limitation for calculating the CSI report is selected so, that it is compatible with the RI of the reference CSI processes by configuring the reference CSI processes; and for the CSI processes, configured using CSI reference processes, the CSI processes report receipt by the CSI base station according to RI, or RI and PTI, or RI and PMI0, corresponding to the CSI reference processes.

EFFECT: implementation of the flexible processes for configuring and returning the channel state information, that effectively reduces the feedback service data volume in the uplink and reduces the likelihood of the possible conflict, while generating the feedback information.
