FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical industry. Method comprises thermally treating feedstock material to produce syngas, comprising carbon monoxide and hydrogen, and plasma-treating syngas in a plasma treatment unit. Plasma-treated syngas reacts with water in a further treatment unit, which comprises consecutive high-temperature and low-temperature blue gas conversion reactors. Hydrogen is extracted from syngas with a degree of purity of 90 %, and carbon dioxide with a degree of purity of 98 %.
EFFECT: invention improves energy efficiency and degree of purity of carbon dioxide gas and/or hydrogen.
